Cabin by the Lake

Objectives: Search around the cabin for loot

Special Enemies: 4 X SWAT


In early rounds this map is very manageable as both SWATs and regular walkers can be stunned and there is enough space for Pizza Guy to get around the map and unlock the 3 chests and get back to the exit. Zeke (with the interrupter Morning Star), and Eugene (with an interrupter staff/hockey stick) can be great in early rounds where walkers die more easily. Later you may wish to switch Zeke out for another bruiser to absorb damage. In later rounds when the spawn rate is higher it is standing room only in this map and it takes forever just to get anywhere near the crate unlocks. Verdict: Easy at first but gets steadily more of a pain to complete.

Getting Burnt

Objectives: Another camp for you to loot. Escape through the gate

Special Enemies: Lots of walkers on fire


This is a map where you can use the special enemies as a benefit rather than an obstacle, as eventually all those flamey walkers burn out and die on their own. Top tip for this map is exercise a little patience. Team your Pizza Guy up with Zeke (with the interrupter Morning Star), and Eugene (with an interrupter staff/hockey stick) and use overwatch to let the walkers come to you and gradually thin the horde as you wait for the flamey’s to burn out. My Michonne isn’t the best but her leader trait can be used to great effect on this map as she keeps spawn rates to a minimum. Use patience as you eventually make your way across the bottom of the map as there are lots of blind spots and opportunities to lose stars if you rush too much.

Objectives: Loot the camp and get the hell out of there.

Special Enemies: 1 x Tank


The aim of the map is to fight your way to the right-hand side of the map where there is a camp with 3 crates to open to activate the exit, then head back the way you came to exit. If you are using a melee squad with Pizza Guy teamed with Zeke (and the interrupter Morning Star), and Eugene (with an interrupter staff/hockey stick), the spawn rate is very manageable, and if you use overwatch to lure the walkers in this map can be handled easily. There is a Tank patrolling the camp but if you use Zeke as a buffer whilst Pizza Guy and Euge open the chests you can get in and out without bothering to kill him. If you are use a ranged team the spawn rate is significantly higher so I advise against it.

Lost Bunker

Objectives: Get to the bunker. Watch out for the traps.

Special Enemies: 1 x Tank plus additional Tanks from activated traps

This one is the map you wish all maps were as easy as. There are a few different strategies that all centre around getting to the exit as quick as possible without bothering to kill any walkers. If you team your Pizza Guy, with Drive-by-Daryl and a sacrifice scout just in case you get into trouble (as there is no way you should aim for less than 4 stars on this map). I prefer to avoid the traps and snake my way around the camp towards the fence being careful to keep those all-important 3 grid spaces between your team and the walkers. Others prefer to just run it straight across the top f the map (which does trigger a spawn). The key here is get your guys into position so they can dash to the exit without fighting. I prefer to save my DBD until last as if you do accidentally activate a trap and a Tank spawns, Daryl can get past without breaking a sweat.

Double Trouble

Objectives: Take down both of the tough walkers

Special Enemies: 2 x Tanks

The aim of this map is to kill the 2 Tanks that spawn on the left and right side of the map. In early rounds Pizza Guy teamed with Zeke (and the interrupter Morning Star), and Eugene (with an interrupter staff/hockey stick) make short work of it (even when the Tank on the right goes walkabout and heads off to the far left). This map however does get very tricky as you progress through the rounds and the spawn rate exceeds your ability to kill walkers and keep the first Tank at a distance. Later you will need to switch to your SPY team and make sure you set both Tanks on fire as you create a stun wall and wait for them to burn out.

Train Wreck

Objectives: Search the debris of the derailed train. Beware of the burning walkers.

Special Enemies: 2 x SWATS, All other walkers on fire

There are 5 crates to search to find the correct 3 that will spawn the exit. As king of the looters Pizza Guy is a great leader to have here (especially armed with the crescent edge). This is a map where using Glenn’s leader trait and scouts can pay dividends in getting you in and out without too much of a fight but I prefer to play it a bit safer and have Zeke (with the interrupter Morning Star), and Eugene (with an interrupter staff/hockey stick) to act as PGG security detail and keep the walkers at bay whilst he does his thing opening chests.
