Supports Guide
Supports are a very useful addition to the game but some are far more useful than others. Carol’s Cookie’s for example, can help you take on hard to kill walkers by maximising your attacks dramatically, Michonne’s Rainbow Cat can give you that all important charge point when you need it most, and The Whisperer’s Mask and Dog can save your neck when heavies get a little too close.
Others are far more niche and are only useful in very particular maps. Shiva for example can be your best friend in maps with mines, but there aren’t too many maps like that in the game. Others such as the commonwealth Armour who (much like Bruiser Morgan’s LT) only kick in when you have already been damaged are fairly pointless in weekly challenges as you have already lost stars and if you are trying to maximise points will have to redo the map again anyway.
{X} and {Y} values for the skill descriptions are determined by the level of your supports ranging from one to 5. I have not included exact values here, but like all elements of the game, the higher the level the more useful the support will be.
Tools Guide
Tools are amazingly useful during higher level maps and in Guild Wars, and I am often asked when is the best time to use them. Of the 5 tools available, the one I find myself running out of the most is the flare, so as a result I try to use them as sparingly as possible. Pile of gore is one I use more rarely and as a result I often have those in triple figures. Below is my guide to how these tools can be used and where and when you want to use them to make them work better for you as you progress through the game.
